Hello everyone! I’m Caitlyn. Photographer, editor, receptionist and the all-in driving power behind Caitlyn Beer Photography.

I’m a born and bred through and through horse girl. I have grown up on the outskirts of North Melbourne on our family farm where we breed the gentle giants of the world, Clydesdales. I am also a massive dog lover, especially little fat English Staffy's.

In high school I had a great love of art and studied it quite heavily, during this time I received my first camera. Like most I had no idea what I wanted to do after school, so I had applied for a few different uni courses, one of the courses I was accepted into was for photography and I thought well that might be cool let’s give it a go!

After completing my Diploma in Photography and Photo Imaging at RMIT, I decided to combine my love for horses, dogs and photography into 'Caitlyn Beer Photography'. At 26, having a full-time job and my own business, life can be very busy, but it is so rewarding to be doing what I love.

As a rider myself I absolutely love watching everyone out competing enjoying their different disciplines in the sport. I would have to say the best part about my job is all the lovely people I get to meet and when you cheer yourself on after a great ride! The relationship with your horse is like no other. Memories are made to be cherished and I'm here to capture those special moments.

CANINE

We all have 100's of iPhone photos of our pups but never ones any good to put on the wall. My Canine service can be anything you imagine, from dress ups and birthday celebrations to a simple black background. And of course you can also get in on the action.

EQUINE

My equine sessions can be for both horse and rider to enjoy. You can either choose to have the bond and love with your equine partner captured, or for a more artistic feel get a black background session.

This service works great for an organisation looking to document the ins and outs of their business. No set ups needed, I simply do a day in the life around your business, this make for great natural images.

EVENT PHOTOGRAPHY

This is a service that is completely obligation free for event organisers! A club simply needs to book for Caitlyn Beer photography to attend an event or clinic. Once there I try to cover as much of the event as possible, then publish images on my website for riders to purchase.
